Co-Directors Pat Kuhl and Andy Meltzoff traveled to China in March to share the latest I-LABS research with other scientists, partners, and community members.
Of particular interest was I-LABS research on language learning and bilingualism, especially since "bilingual brains show more flexibility and a higher level of cognitive and executive function because they have to switch back and forth in two languages. These children are also more creative in solving problems." You can read more about the conversation from the parents' conference, hosted by Infants, Toddlers, and Twos, in the
South China Morning Post.
