On January 23-24, 2012, I-LABS’ Co-Directors Patricia Kuhl, Andrew Meltzoff and the MEG Brain Imaging Center team presented their latest research findings at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France. The conference, entitled "Connecting How we Learn to Educational Practice and Policy: Research Evidence and Implications," was a joint effort between the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the OECD Centre for Educational Research and Innovation. It provided an opportunity for scientists from NSF Science of Learning Centers across the U.S. – I-LABS is home to one, the LIFE Center – to share their findings and ideas in an interactive forum that included educational practitioners and policy-makers from the 34 OECD member countries around the world.
