With interests in psychology, neuroscience and education, the interns will spend the month of July working with I-LABS researchers and honing professional development skills.

The I-LABS Outreach team organizes the internship each year with the goal of giving students a behind-the-scenes view of the Institute's research and outreach activities.

"We want to give our interns an up-close and hands-on experience that fosters their interest in child development and neuroscience and inspires them to continue to pursue these areas when they return to college in the fall," said Sarah Lytle, I-LABS Director of Outreach.

The Summer 2016 I-LABS interns are:

Miriam Donner, a rising junior at Davidson College
Will Hodge, a rising sophomore at Tufts University
Riley MacAulay, a rising junior at Princeton University
Maria Venneri, a rising junior at Grinnell College

Stay tuned for more on the interns—they'll be developing social media posts and writing columns for the web series "Ask I-LABS Outreach."
