Alexis Reissmann is a senior at Western Washington University pursing a B.S. in behavioral neuroscience. At Western she is a research assistant under Dr. McNeel Janzten in the Language and Neural Systems lab, studying the relationship between musical experience and language comprehension using behavioral and EEG techniques. Alexis' main interests are in neuroplasticity, learning, and development on both cellular and whole brain levels. She is thrilled to be working with Dr. Lee this summer in the Laboratory for Auditory Brain Sciences and Neuroengineering. When she is not in lab, Alexis spends her time dancing, reading, and scouting out Washington's best beaches.
