Jake McManus is a rising senior at the University of Washington, majoring in linguistics. His research interests include second language acquisition, natural language processing, and statistical learning. This summer with ILABS, Jake hopes to deepen his understanding of second language acquisition, as well as broaden and develop his skill set related to linguistic research methods which he can take with him into future projects. In his free time Jake enjoys music, cooking, staying active, and being outdoors.
