Bio

Lizzy Stier is a research assistant in Dr. Allison Master’s Identity and Academic Motivation Lab. After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Science, Technology & Society, she earned her Masters in Education from UCLA’s Teacher Education Program. She is excited to be involved in Dr. Master’s studies, the results of which will inform classroom interventions aimed at mitigating the effects of gender stereotyping on children’s interest in STEM fields. Lizzy’s primary roles are to assist with the recruitment of study participants and the collection and management of experimental data.
