Prysilla De La Torre is majoring in Psychology and Biochemistry. She graduates in 2014. After graduating she hopes to attend graduate school or medical school. Her ultimate goal being either a child clinical psychologist or a pediatric surgeon. Prysilla's hobbies include drawing/ painting, running, and being around her pets. She was also accepted into the McNair program. The McNair Scholars program focuses on getting students into Ph.D. programs right after graduation. It is a research based programs so the McNair scholars will work on the own research studies and will present at the Undergraduate Research Symposium in May I believe. My research will be psychology based focusing either on child clinical or developmental study. It would be interesting if I could somehow look at culture affecting children in either area.
