Sandrine Girard, a second year student at the University of Washington, is starting her journey through the Psychology Honors Program upon her return from studying abroad in Spain during fall quarter. The scope of her research interests is still very large but she anticipates finding her niche by the end of this program. Sandrine hopes to learn invaluable information and skills from this lab but also hopes to contribute to some parts of the research due to being bilingual herself. Academically, her plans include graduating one year early with a psychology major and Spanish minor. She will then apply to graduate school in the field of neuropsychology and perhaps one day will even open up her own lab. Personally, Sandrine plans on using her language skills to help better the community in any way she can.
